The Žusem quarry is located on the local road between Loko pri Žusmom and Šentjur, integrating into the northern, forested slope of the ridge, south of the Voljčja jama – Dobrina road (Žusem). It is approximately 11 km away from the municipal center of Šentjur, accessible via the asphalt road Šentjur - Kozje. The quarry features early Triassic, fine-grained to dense dolomite, which ranges in color from gray to deeper gray. The base elevation of the quarry is +475 m above sea level, while the highest elevation reaches +555 m.

At the Žusem quarry, stone aggregates suitable for embankments and road surfaces are produced, as well as fractions for use in concrete plants and asphalt bases. The Žusem quarry offers fractions of 0-4, 4-8, 8-16, 16-32, 0-16, 0-32, 0-63, and 0-125. Additionally, we produce demined material and crushed stone suitable for landslide remediation and watercourse protection.

The Poljčane quarry is located on the left side before the settlement of Zg. Poljčane, along the state road RI-219, Podplat - Poljčane - Slovenska Bistrica. Access is possible for all vehicle categories via the existing road connection. Production at this location has a rich history, dating back to 1950, when manual production began. Today, it operates with technologically advanced and modern separation, producing all types of stone aggregates for construction needs. The rock is dolomite in its mineralogical composition. In the quarry, we produce various fractions of stone aggregates, including tampers for use in embankments and fractions for use in concrete and asphalt. We offer fractions of 0-2, 2-4, 4-8, 8-16, 16-32, 0-4, 0-8, 0-16, 0-32, 0-63, and demined material.

In addition to stone aggregates, we also produce dolomite flour Apnin Mg, which is a natural fertilizer intended for agriculture and gardening. Another product is the sale of soil, the so-called overburden. The quarry also features a modern concrete plant and its own vehicle fleet to supply customers. We also offer stone aggregate delivery services to homes.

The Pirešica quarry is located in Velika Pirešica, near Žalec, and represents the main source of material in the Celje Basin and the wider Savinja and Šalek valleys. In an auction, the company Kamnolom Pirešica d.o.o. (SPV), which is majority-owned by GIC, achieved the highest price and took over the ownership and management of the Pirešica quarry.

The product range of the Pirešica quarry meets the needs of road and railway construction, concrete plants, and asphalt bases within a radius of approximately 50 km. The crushed stone material is also suitable for railway tracks throughout Slovenia. An exception is the crushed stone, which is in short supply throughout the country, but the Pirešica quarry has it in sufficient quantities.

The exceptional quality of the material at the Pirešica quarry is also emphasized in relation to transportation over long distances, up to 50 km and more, as the quality and purity of the material make this reasonable.

The Žamerk quarry has a rich history of extracting high-quality stone. The quarry produces various types of stone aggregates. The stone from this quarry is often used for paving, masonry, and decorative purposes.
